My earliest memory of food was being in the kitchen with my father, helping him make his famous chili. I had no idea then the impact that nutrition would have on my life in years to come.
My career started as a Level 2 Paramedic in Peel Region. For over three years I cared for patients affected with illness and injury due to poor lifestyle choices and eating habits; I knew that I wanted to be able to help people BEFORE they needed to phone 911. In 2010 I transitioned to the health and fitness world and became a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. My decision to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist came shortly after entering the world of fitness. Proper nutrition creates a healthy mind, body and soul. Clients results are based 90% on nutrition and lifestyle choices you cannot out train a bad diet. Today I am able to do what I am so passionate about and provide nutrition coaching and consultations for clients to elevate well being. — Melissa Ieraci
